Congress leaders Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra were detained by Delhi Police on Tuesday during a protest near Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s official residence at Lok Kalyan Marg, reported the ANI. The protest was organised to demand accountability over the alleged NEET-UG 2026 paper leak and seek the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. Several Congress leaders and workers were also detained as police moved to disperse the demonstrators. Police personnel attempted to remove Rahul Gandhi from the protest location and were seen carrying him towards a police vehicle during the detention. Priyanka Gandhi Vadra criticised the police action while being taken away, saying that the protesters were not afraid and would continue raising students’ concerns.
