Delhi’s Karkardooma Court has acquitted an army official accused of raping a woman under the pretext of marriage. The court determined that the woman’s testimony was unreliable and that the prosecution had not shown evidence that could be proven beyond a reasonable doubt.(HT photo) The court ruled that the prosecution failed to provide evidence beyond reasonable doubt, and the woman’s testimony was not trustworthy.
