Trump wrote, “Has anyone noticed that, since I said ‘I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT,’ she’s no longer ‘HOT?’” He also criticized Springsteen, calling him “dumb as a rock” and “a pushy, obnoxious JERK.” These remarks followed Trump’s previous online comments about Swift after she endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris in the 2024 presidential election. His remarks about Springsteen came after the singer criticized Trump’s administration at a concert in Manchester, England. The American Federation of Musicians (AFM) quickly responded to Trump’s comments. YouTube Is Testing New System for Reducing Notifications from Infrequently Watched Channels

YouTube Is Testing New System for Reducing Notifications from Infrequently Watched Channels

Google has announced that it is testing a new system for YouTube which reduces notifications received from subscribed channels that aren’t watched anymore. On YouTube, users can set the notification setting to All which makes sure they stay up to date with all the ongoing activities from their preferred channels via push notifications. However, this becomes annoying when you don’t watch a channel anymore but keep receiving alerts about it. At present, the only option is to unsubscribe from them but if there are a lot of channels you’ve subscribed to in the past, YouTube’s reported in-development system may offer a relief. YouTube’s New Notification System According to Google, viewers who haven’t engaged with a channel recently but still have received push notifications will not experience the same anymore during this experiment. While they will still be available via the notification inbox in the YouTube app, they will not receive push notifications from the channel. This experiment will not affect the YouTube channels that viewers actively engage with, nor channels that upload infrequently. As per Google, instead of …

Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) has become essential for IT leaders and enterprises looking to implement generative AI. By using a large language model (LLM) and RAG, enterprises can ground an LLM in enterprise data, improving the accuracy of outputs. But how does RAG work? What are the use cases for RAG? And are there any real alternatives? TechRepublic sat down with Davor Bonaci, chief technology officer and executive vice president at database and AI company DataStax, to find out how RAG is being leveraged in the market during the rollout of generative AI in 2024 and what he sees as the technology’s next step in 2025. What is Retrieval Augmented Generation? RAG is a technique that improves the relevance and accuracy of generative AI LLM model outputs by adding extended or augmented context from an enterprise. The reviewer’s guide for the OxygenOS 15 reportedly says that the update consumes 20 percent less space on the flagship OnePlus 13 that was launched in China last month, compared to OxygenOS 14 on OnePlus 12. To achieve this, the company reportedly “examined and removed redundant features”. This is said to include a reduction in the number of preloaded resources such as wallpapers, making them available on an on-demand basis. It also reportedly reduced the size of the super partition …
