To ease passenger movement and deal with the summer rush, the Central Railway (CR) has put on hold the sale of platform tickets at prominent stations in the Mumbai and Pune divisions from April 18 to May 15. The move impacts key stations such as Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT), Lokmanya Tilak Terminus (LTT), and Kalyan in the Mumbai Division, and Pune station in the Pune Division. Relatives of passengers or others who normally accompany them to the platforms will not be able to buy entry tickets during this time.
