MBMC gives residential buildings green retrofittings in pilot project | Mumbai news
MUMBAI: On January 29, the Mira Bhayandar Municipal Corporation (MBMC) and Aga Khan Agency for Habitat (AKAH) launched a Mira Bhayandar Climate Action Plan (MBCAP) to accommodate energy and water sustainability along with heat resilience. Mumbai, India – Feb. 18, 2025: The Aga Khan foundation for habitat has conducted an experiment in one slum, one residential building and three civic-run schools to make them sustainable and energy efficient. This model mainly looks at energy conservation, water conservation and indoor air pollution. The foundation has also signed and MoU with Mira-Bhayandar municipal corporation to implement the energy efficient model in more areas in Mumbai, India, on Tuesday, February 18, 2025.
