India skipper Rohit Sharma took onus for his team’s horror innings against New Zealand on Thursday, saying that as a captain, it was his call to bat first under the overcast conditions in Bengaluru “I am hurting to see this score of 46 as a captain as it was my call to bat first. But one or two bad calls in a year is quite alright,” Rohit said at the day-end press conference. “We thought the pitch would be flatter. It was a misjudgment on my part,” he added.
