Nihangs are a distinct warrior order within the Sikh community. The announcement was made by Jathedar Nihang Baba Harjit Singh Rasulpur of the Nihang Dal known as Misl Shaheedan Nihang Baba Fakir Singh Rasulpur (Ayodhya Wale).
