Shah Rukh Khan has watched every episode of The Kapil Sharma Show, says Kiku Sharda: ‘We made this in India!’ | Bollywood News

Everybody knows Shah Rukh Khan. Some know him as the superstar. Some as the ‘King of Bollywood.’ And others—those who’ve been lucky enough to work with him, shoot with him, or simply be around him—know him as something even more remarkable: a curious mind, a knowledge-hungry artist, a video-game addict, and an avid student of media. Recalling how Happy New Year came his way, Kiku said, “The film happened in 2014–2015, and The Kapil Sharma Show started in 2013. It was just around that time. I was approached by Farah Khan, who told me it was a small part but with the entire cast. I was like, okay.” What he didn’t expect was what happened on set. “When we …

One of the oldest members of the band is actor and comedian Kiku Sharda, who has been involved with the show since almost the start. During a recent interview, Sharda talked about Kapil Sharma, his experience of working with him, and shared some weird stories from the set. The 49-year-old actor appeared on Ranveer Allahbadia’s podcast and talked about his career, personal life and his greatest hits. While discussing the latter, he was asked about the most out-of-the-box interaction he has with a guest of the show. Without skipping a beat, Kiku took the name of actor Moushumi Chatterjee. He said that Chatterjee didn’t seem bothered by the script and flow of the show and just wanted to talk and have fun with everyone, even if it took the show off its rails.
