The Cabinet also took decisions on energy production, water conservation and pensioners’ welfare. Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma presided over the Cabinet meeting. Industries and Commerce Minister Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore told journalists after the meeting that the new policy would provide incentives to micro, small, and medium enterprises, one district one product, and the export sector. “The State government will make special efforts to promote industries based on cutting-edge technologies, such as semiconductors, data centres, global capacity centres and defence manufacturing,” Col. Rathore said. The policy’s primary objective was to boost the State’s economy to $350 billion by 2028-29, he added. New Delhi: The Delhi government will hold a talent hunt program this summer for Delhites in categories like dancing and singing, chief minister Rekha Gupta announced on Wednesday. The participants will be able to upload their performance videos on a government portal from where juries will shortlist candidates.
