Nashik Rural Police have detained nine individuals in connection with the alleged assault, molestation, and robbery of a tourist family at the Bhavali Dam waterfall in Igatpuri taluka of Maharashtra. According to the complaint, the family confronted a group of men allegedly harassing a woman member. The accused then chased the family’s vehicle for nearly 10-15 kilometres along the Mumbai-Agra National Highway, vandalising it with sticks and iron rods. Police said the attackers molested the women in the vehicle, assaulted other family members, and robbed them before fleeing.
