Central Railway to run 54 special train trips for Ashadhi Wari 2026 pilgrims
To facilitate the travel of lakhs of devotees expected to attend Ashadhi Wari 2026 in Pandharpur, the Solapur Division of Central Railway has announced 54 special train trips connecting the pilgrimage town with various parts of Maharashtra. Ashadhi Ekadashi, one of Maharashtra’s most significant religious occasions, will be observed on July 25. Every year, lakhs of Warkaris converge on Pandharpur to offer prayers at the Vitthal-Rukmini temple. In a press release issued on Thursday, Central Railway said it will operate a mix of reserved and unreserved special trains from Nagpur, New Amravati, Khamgaon, Bhusaval, Latur, Kolhapur, Pune, and Miraj to cater to the increased passenger demand during the annual pilgrimage. Reserved special trains Nagpur-Miraj Ashadhi Specials (Four trips) Train No 01205 will depart Nagpur at 8.50 am on July 23 and July 24 and arrive at Miraj at 11.55 am the following day.
