India on Wednesday expressed deep concern over recent attacks and escalating tensions in West Asia after US President Donald Trump said a ceasefire deal with Iran was “over” following Iranian attacks on merchant shipping in the Strait of Hormuz, and again called for restraint, uninterrupted flow of energy and a return to dialogue and diplomacy.
