In a crackdown on wildlife crime, a joint team led by the Wildlife Crime Control Bureau (WCCB) arrested two men from Maharashtra’s Gadchiroli district after recovering two tiger skins near the Maharashtra-Chhattisgarh border, officials said on Thursday. The operation also led to the seizure of 5.39 kg of pangolin scales from the residence of one of the accused, indicating a possible interstate wildlife trafficking network involving multiple protected species.
