Indian women’s team to play Test match against Australia women in revamped WACA | Cricket News

Indian women’s team will travel Down Under to play a three-match T20I series, a three-match ODI series, and a Test match to play Australia. The schedule is spread across seven cities in Australia. According to a release from Cricket Australia, the tour starts with T20I on 15th February. However, the highlight of the tour is the day-night Test match which will be held in a revamped WACA ground in Perth. India has played six Test matches in Australia so far out of which they have won two and lost four. India also has a 7-17 win against Australia and 8-8 in women’s T20Is. India opener Shafali Verma, 20, lit up Delhi’s Feroz Shah Kotla Stadium with her 27-ball 44 that included three cleanly struck sixes. Two of these landed just in front of the stands, comfortably clearing the boundary rope.
