Indian women’s team will travel Down Under to play a three-match T20I series, a three-match ODI series, and a Test match to play Australia. The schedule is spread across seven cities in Australia. According to a release from Cricket Australia, the tour starts with T20I on 15th February. However, the highlight of the tour is the day-night Test match which will be held in a revamped WACA ground in Perth.
India has played six Test matches in Australia so far out of which they have won two and lost four. India also has a 7-17 win against Australia and 8-8 in women’s T20Is.

Gabba to be torn down after 2032 Olympics
While one iconic ground is being revamped the other will be altered. The iconic Gabba stadium (Brisbane Cricket Ground) will make way for a new home of cricket after the Olympics in 2032, Queensland’s premier David Crisafulli revealed on Tuesday.
Crisafulli announced a new $3.8 billion 63,000-seat venue at Brisbane’s Victoria Park as part of plans for a main stadium and other venues for the 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games, which Australia will host.
It must be noted that in Cricket Australia’s seven-year international venue allocation plans announced in 2024, Gabba was only guaranteed international cricket until next summer’s men’s Ashes. There was uncertainty whether the iconic stadium would be redeveloped or replaced.
