- The TNPL 2026 follows a single round-robin league format featuring eight teams, with each team playing seven matches against the other teams once during the league stage.
- Teams are awarded 2 points for a win, 1 point each if a match ends with no result or is abandoned, and 0 points for a loss. If two or more teams finish with the same number of points, Net Run Rate (NRR) is used to determine their rankings.
- The top four teams in the TNPL 2026 points table at the end of the league stage qualify for the playoffs based on the points they have accumulated.
