Soon after, Kuldeep’s in-laws reached the house and levelled allegations against him and his family.

Police said that Nisha’s family alleged that she was murdered and her body subsequently thrown into the pond. They accused Kuldeep and his mother, Dayavati, who lives separately, of harassment and murder.

Distraught by the accusations of his wife’s murder, Kuldeep committed suicide by hanging himself inside his home.

In the note, he wrote, “I have no idea what happened to Nisha. Despite enduring so many quarrels over the years, I never once spoke harshly to her. Yet today, her family members claim that I am responsible for her death. I do not wish to live bearing this stigma.

Upon receiving information, the police arrived at the scene and sent the bodies for post-mortem examination.
