In the 2019 general elections in Uttar Pradesh, BJP emerged victorious, securing 62 out of 80 seats, with two additional seats won by its ally Apna Dal (S). BSP managed to secure 10 seats, while SP obtained five. The Congress Party secured only one seat.

Uttar Pradesh has already completed the first phase of voting on April 19.
The remaining constituencies will vote in subsequent phases on April 26, May 7, May 13, May 20, May 25, and June 1, with vote counting on June 4.

Gautam Buddh Nagar gears up for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections with over 20,000 personnel assigned for polling duty to assist the 26.75 lakh registered voters, officials revealed. District Election Officer Manish Kumar Verma stated that the constituency comprises 1,852 booths, with live webcasting planned for 931 booths and CCTV or videography for the rest. Among these, 164 booths are deemed vulnerable, while 165 are critical. The constituency spans Noida, Dadri, Jewar, Khurja, and Sikandrabad assembly segments, with Sikandrabad and Khurja falling within Bulandshahr district but being part of Gautam Buddh Nagar. The constituency boasts 26,75,148 voters, including 14,50,795 males, 12,22,234 females, and 119 third-gender voters, distributed across the five assembly segments.
