Singer and composer Vishal Dadlani of Bollywood’s popular musical duo Vishal-Sheykhar has postponed his upcoming concert in Pune, following an accident. The musician took to his social media handle and updated fans about the situation, along with the change in the concert schedule. “My bad, had a small accident. Will be back in the dance soon; will keep you all posted. See you soon, Pune!” Dadlani wrote in his Instagram stories; however, he refrained from specifying the nature of the accident or his injury.
The show was scheduled to take place on March 2 at the JSPM College Ground in Pune’s Wagholi. In another post, Just Urbane, the concert organiser shared a detailed update on Vishal-Sheykhar’s concert and stated that all the ticket holders would receive a full refund through their official ticketing partner. Just Urbane also assured that the musical duo will be back for an “unforgettable experience.”
“We regret to inform you that the much-awaited Urbane Shows Music Concert featuring the iconic duo Vishal and Sheykhar, scheduled for 2nd March 2025, has been postponed due to an unfortunate accident involving Vishal Dadlani, who is currently undergoing treatment. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your understanding. The concert will be rescheduled, and we’ll share the new date very soon,” the statement read.
Vishal Dadlani and Sheykhar Ravjiani, best known as Bollywood’s Vishal-Shekhar have been long-time friends and their musical journey goes way back in time. It was during the 1999 film Pyaar Mein Kabhi Kabhi when the two started working together and have never looked back since. “So we decided to work together and have been working together ever since,” Dadlani told The New Indian Express in an interview as he recalled their first project.
They have composed songs for films like Om Shanti Om, Anjaana Anjaani, I Hate Luv Storys, Dostana Bang Bang, Student of the Year, and more. Additionally, Vishal has extended his vocals to superhit tracks like Dhoom Again, Kurban Hua, Jee le Zara, Jab Mila Tu, Swag Se Swagat, Har Funn Maula and Khuda Hafiz.
Apart from collaborating on Bollywood films, the duo has also worked together on reality shows, musical concerts and other shows.
