When a popular star steps out, chaos often follows and that’s exactly what happened when Hina Khan attended a Ramadan event in Mumbai. The actor was warmly greeting fans and posing for selfies when the situation quickly became crowded and noisy, prompting her to momentarily ask paparazzi to calm down.
Hina had attended the Barkat-E-Ramadaan celebration hosted by the Bhamla Foundation in Mumbai on Sunday, March 8. As she exited the venue, a large number of fans gathered around her hoping to capture selfies with the television star.
The moment soon turned hectic as photographers and onlookers surrounded her, creating a noisy environment. In several videos that have since gone viral online, the actor can be seen addressing the paparazzi while trying to manage the situation.
At one point, she raised her hand and said, “Shanti! Shanti! Everybody quiet,” signalling to photographers to reduce the noise as she continued interacting with fans in the public space.
Despite the brief moment of frustration, Hina quickly resumed posing for selfies with those waiting to meet her, continuing to greet fans before leaving the venue.
The actor has been in the public eye not just for her work but also for her personal journey over the past year. In June 2024, she revealed through an Instagram post that she had been diagnosed with stage three breast cancer.
Sharing the news with her followers at the time, she wrote, “I have been diagnosed with stage three breast cancer. Despite this challenging diagnosis, I wish to reassure everyone that I am doing well. I am strong, determined and fully committed to overcoming this disease. My treatment has already begun and I am ready to do everything necessary to emerge from this even stronger.”
She added, “I kindly ask for your respect and privacy during this time. I deeply appreciate your love, strength and blessings. Your personal experiences, anecdotes and supportive suggestions would mean the world to me as I navigate this journey. I, along with my family and loved ones, remain focused, determined and positive. With the grace of the almighty, we believe I will overcome this challenge and will be completely healthy. Please send your prayers blessings and love.”
On the personal front, Hina married her longtime partner Rocky Jaiswal on June 4, 2025. The couple first met on the set of the television show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, where Hina rose to fame. After dating for over 13 years, they tied the knot in an intimate ceremony.
