Haq box office collection day 5: Suparn S Varma’s directorial and Yami Gautam-Emraan Hashmi starrer Haq hit the big screens this Friday. The picture, which revolves around the controversial Shah Bano Begum case, has seen earnings rise over the weekend. However, it has now slowed down. Let’s have a look at its box office receipts on day 5.
Haq box office collection day 5
A Sacnilk report says that on its fifth day (Tuesday, November 11, 2025), Haq made about Rs 0.07 crore in India. With this revenue, the movie’s total domestic net profits are now anticipated to be Rs 10.02 crore. The movie had a 9.70% occupancy rate on Monday, with night screenings drawing the largest crowd (12.91%), followed by evening sessions (10.91%), afternoon performances (9.46%), and morning shows (5.52%).
Although Yami Gautam Dhar’s acting in particular has been praised, the movie’s sluggish plot and lack of attraction seem to have hampered its box office potential.
Yami posted on her X (formerly Twitter) account on Sunday, reacting to the praise the movie has received. She wrote, “The power of ‘Word of mouth’. No foul-play or any gimmicks. Straight from our hearts to the audience. Even from trade & media perspective, I feel a lot of positivity that they want a film like ‘ HAQ’ to be a success. It’s a rarity & I shall cherish this moment for life.”
About Haq
Haq re-enacts the events surrounding the famous Mohd Ahmed Khan vs Shah Bano Begum case. It is taken from Jigna Vora’s work, Bano: Bharat Ki Beti, which is somewhat an artistic adaptation. The movie recounts the legal fight that started in 1978, when the lawyer husband of Shah Bano, Abbas, divorced her. The Supreme Court of India heard her case in 1985 and passed a ruling by a five-judge Constitutional bench that the Muslim women were also entitled to maintenance under the law.
