Zarine Khan, wife of veteran actor-producer Sanjay Khan and mother of actor Zayed Khan, passed away on November 7. She was laid to rest the same day as per Hindu traditions, with her son Zayed performing the last rites. Days after her passing, the Khan family organised a prayer meet in Mumbai on Monday.
Pictures and videos from the gathering surfaced online, showing her daughters Simone Arora, Farah Ali Khan, and Sussanne Khan arriving at the venue. Hrithik and Sussanne’s sons, Hridaan and Hrehaan, were also present.
In another clip, Zayed Khan was seen alongside his father, Sanjay Khan. The entire family, dressed in white, greeted the paparazzi with folded hands as they came together to honour Zarine Khan’s memory.
Apart from the family members, Hrithik Roshan was seen arriving for Zarine Khan’s prayer meet with his girlfriend Saba Azad. Rani Mukerji, Mahima Chaudhry, Salim Khan, Arpita Khan Sharma, Zareen Khan and Rajat Bedi were also seen arriving for the event.
