Buzz had it that reality star Asim Riaz was shown the door from the reality show Battleground following a heated clash with co-judges Rubina Dilaik and Abhishek Malhan aka Fukra Insaan. Asim has now fired back at the chatter, claiming he “kicked the script and flipped the game” instead. Taking to social media, Asim opened up about the buzz surrounding his exit from the show. Without getting into too many details, he simply shared that he’s decided to move on.
Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, Asim wrote, “Paid media ain’t got a spine, just a rate card. They print what they’re told, I move when I decide. Keep shouting ‘kicked out’, I kicked the script and flipped the game. Next headline? Make it count.”

Asim had earlier also dropped a cryptic Instagram post on April 19. Holding a cigarette in hand, the model-actor captioned the picture “SCRIPTED” with a middle finger emoji, seemingly taking a swipe at the show.

As per a report by India Today, what started as a small disagreement on April 17 quickly spiralled out of control. Sources say things took a sharp turn when Asim allegedly made insulting remarks toward Rubina Dilaik as she tried to step in and calm the situation. The tension hit a boiling point, forcing the shoot to come to an unexpected halt, with Asim, Rubina, and Abhishek all retreating to their vans. Talks are now reportedly underway between Asim’s team and the show’s makers to smooth things over.
Asim’s fiery attitude has sparked controversy before as well. Back in 2024, he was reportedly ousted from Khatron Ke Khiladi 14 following a heated exchange with host Rohit Shetty. After struggling with a stunt, Asim challenged the makers, saying, “Do it in front of me. I won’t take a rupee if you succeed.” Rohit responded by showing him a video of a crew member completing the same task.
