Ishaan Khatter is entering an exciting new phase in his career, with a packed slate of projects lined up. The actor is set to return as the lead of Netflix’s The Royals as the series gears up for its second season, which is expected to go on floors in September. The new chapter will see Ishaan reprise his role and take the story forward following the first season’s run.

Alongside The Royals, Ishaan is also preparing for Jugaadu, an upcoming action comedy that marks his first “in and as” lead role in a feature film. The film is helmed by Palash Vaswani, who makes his feature directorial debut with the project after earning acclaim for the popular series Gullak.

Palash recently shared a glimpse of Ishaan on his Instagram Story, applauding the actor’s work on Jugaadu. “Just casually dropping this story to appreciate how brilliant you are. Big hug and more power to you brother,” he wrote, hinting at the strong creative bond the two have developed while working on the film.

On the personal front, Ishaan also appears to be embracing this new chapter as a single man. The actor had been linked to model and actress Chandni Bainz for some time, although neither ever officially confirmed their relationship. The two were frequently spotted together in the past, but have largely kept their distance from the public eye in recent months.

According to sources, Ishaan and Chandni have amicably gone their separate ways. With new projects, a fresh professional chapter and a quieter personal life, the actor seems to be moving forward with plenty on his plate.

Ishaan seems to be in no mood to be distracted. He clearly has his eyes set on the top spot with such an impressive line up of projects.
