An FIR has been filed against the son of Telangana Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy in a case of alleged land grabbing. The Gachibowli police registered the case against a few individuals and a construction company owned by the minister’s son.

The Minister’s son had reportedly shown interest in this piece of land, which lies next to another property where his company already has a development agreement.

According to reports, the land owner was allegedly pressured to hand over the plot. Worried about losing his property, he approached the court and complained that the land was being encroached upon. After hearing his plea, the court issued a stay order, stopping any activity or dealings related to the land.

Despite the stay, the Minister’s son allegedly arrived at the site along with several bouncers and senior employees of his company. The group is said to have entered the land illegally and damaged a shed on the property.

Gachibowli Police registered an FIR based on the landowner’s complaint.

At the same time, the construction company also filed a counter-complaint, leading to cases being registered against both sides.
