Kyunkii Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi is an iconic show. It began in 2000 and had a successful run for eight years. The story of Tulsi Virani touched hearts. Smriti Irani was loved in the show and made the character iconic. Recently, producer Ekta Kapoor gave the best news to fans. She announced Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2 with Smriti Irani.
Ekta said, “The love we have for this program brought everyone related to it back together to complete just those 150 episodes to reach that 2000 episode. This show deserves that.” She also spoke about Smriti Irani returning as Tulsi. She said, “We are bringing politics into entertainment, or better, a politician into entertainment.”
The show will reportedly go on floors in June 2025. The makers of the show are currently busy with casting and recently, it was being said that they are looking for Mihir Virani. Amar Upadhyay played the role of Mihir Virani and later he left the show. Post that Ronit Roy took over.
Gaurav on being approached for Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi
Yesterday, a source close to Times Now informed them that Anupamaa actors Gaurav Khanna and Sudhanshu Pandey have been approached for the role of Mihir. Now, Gaurav has reacted to this news.
He spoke to BollywoodLife and said, “I don’t think so it is true. Rumours ka aaj kal kuch hai nahi. Anyone can write anything. Once any new portal will write anything, hundred other unknown portals will pick it up and add salt and pepper. But, I am very surprised with this.” This is a big story in entertainment news and TV news.
“I don’t mind it but. I want these rumours to be true and why not? I would want to work with Ekta Kapoor. I have never got a chance to work with her and she is one of the leading story tellers. So why not? I am sure she would know of me. I have not met her personally but someday, sometime, why not? Kuch accha ayega toh karenge na. Kuch accha different aye in which I think I can do justice to the producer. I will definitely do it. But right now, let’s see. I want to do OTT. I want to do other things and I want to do reality. That’s it. I feel thoda change bhi ho jayega, “he added.
