The State government has also sanctioned funds for infrastructure works in layouts in various villages.

The Andhra Pradesh government on Tuesday approved twenty engineering works worth ₹11,467.27 crore for the development of capital city Amaravati.
K. Kanna Babu, Secretary (Full Additional Charge), Municipal Administration and Urban Development, said in a G.O. that, the authority meeting of APCRDA held on December 2, 2024, accorded permission for construction of these works, based on the recommendations of a technical committee constituted by the government.
The government sanctioned ₹ 594.54 crore for completion of balance works of housing for gazetted officers Type I & II, class IV consisting of 1,440 Apartment units in 14 towers of S+12 floors pattern with built up area (BUA) of 27,24,080 sq ft and other works.
Another ₹226.26 crore has been allocated for completion of balance works in external infra development like providing water supply, underground sewerage system, storm water drainage system, street lighting, internal roads, external electrical, plumbing, sanitary systems and others at these complexes.
For completion of balance works like architectural finishes, internal and external electrical, plumbing, sanitary fixtures and others at multi storeyed quarters of 1,140 apartment units in 12 towers of S+12 floors pattern buildings for housing of non-gazetted officers near Nelapadu, the government sanctioned ₹607.50 crore.
While ₹596 crore has been sanctioned for multi storeyed quarters of 855 apartment units in 9 towers of S+12 floors pattern buildings for housing of non gazette officers near Nelapadu, ₹516 crore has been sanctioned for completion of balance works of bungalows for Principal Secretaries, Secretaries consisting of total 115 bungalows of (G+1) floors with a built-up area of 5,28,125 sq ft.
An amount of ₹448 crore has been approved for construction of roads, drains, water supply, sewerage, utility ducts for power, reuse waterline, avenue plantation, compatible with trunk infrastructure in Layouts for Land Pooling Scheme (LPS) for Nekkalu (Part) in Zone-1A Area. Another ₹588 crore sanctioned for construction of roads, drains and other infrastructure in Layouts for LPS for Nekkalu (Part) and Sakhamuru (Part) in Zone-1B Area.
The government also sanctioned funds for similar works at the other Layouts like Ananthavaram, Nekkalu & Thulluru (parts) in Zone-2A, Ananthavaram, Nelapadu, Sakhamuru & Thulluru (parts) in Zone-2B, Abbarajupalem(P), Borupalem, Dondapadu (P) and Rayapudi (P) in Zone-5B, Abbarajupalem (P), Thulluru (P) and Rayapudi (P) in Zone-5D Area, Kondamarajupalem (P) and Rayapudi (P) Village in Zone-6.
For construction of Amaravati “Happy Nest” residential housing project consisting of 1,200 Apartment units in 12 towers of G + 18 Floors pattern, the government sanctioned ₹984 crore, while ₹1,586 crore has been sanctioned for balance flood mitigation works in Amaravati.
The government sanctioned funds considering the construction of balance Smart Trunk Infrastructure in various parts of the capital city. The works include construction of roads, storm water drains, water supply network, sewerage network, utility ducts for power & ICT, reuse water line, pedestrian tracks, cycle track, avenue plantation & street furniture and others at various roads.
