Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli are parents to two absolutely adorable kids. In 2021, the couple had welcomed their daughter, Vamika. And three years later, they were blessed with son, Akaay. The star couple has always extremely private about their children, and often made it clear they want to keep them away from the spotlight. After both Vamika and Akaay were born, Anushka and Virat had requested the paps to refrain from clicking their kids to ensure they grow up in a normal environment.
For the first time since Akaay’s birth, a video went viral on social media that revealed his face. On January 11, Virat and Anushka returned to Mumbai from Vrindavan. The couple was in Vrindavan to seek blessings from Premananda Maharaj Ji. Their meeting with the Maharaj too went viral. But the video that was captured from a private airport in Mumbai grabbed everyone’s attention as Akaay, the little one, was seen in the frame.
Within minutes, the video went viral on social media. Fans of Anushka and Virat were delighted to see the little one. Some were quick to draw comparisons and believed Akaay resembles Anushka. But there was also a section of fans who were visibly irked with the face reveal. Since the couple has given the strict warning to avoid clicking or sharing photos of their children, fans were upset with invasion of their privacy.

For the unversed, in 2022, Vamika’s photos went viral she was clicked with mother Anushka at the stands of the stadium. After the pictures took over the internet, Anushka made a post on social media stating that they were caught off guard, and didn’t realise the camera was on them. “Hi guys! We realise that our daughters images were captured at the stadium yesterday and widely shared thereafter. We want to inform everyone that we were caught off guard and didnt know that the camera was on us. Our stance and request on the matter stays the same. We would really appreciate if Vamika’s images are not clicked/published for reasons we have explained earlier. Thank you!” her post read. She had also slammed a publication for sharing photos of Vamika.
