Divyanka Tripathi, one of TV’s most loved leading ladies, has enjoyed a massive fanbase ever since her iconic roles in Yeh Hai Mohabbatein and Banoo Main Teri Dulhan. So, when rumours of her big comeback started doing the rounds, fans were understandably thrilled, though what Divyanka herself had to say about it paints a slightly different picture.
As per reports, the television actress had even auditioned for an upcoming Colors show, a detail that instantly sent fans into a frenzy, hoping it marked her long-awaited comeback. When India Forums contacted Divyanka to address the buzz, the actress finally set the record straight.

Divyanka Tripathi Addresses Comeback Rumours
The Banoo Main Teri Dulhan actress finally spoke up, putting to rest all speculation about a potential comeback. She said, “It’s false news because I’m not even aware of the show you are speaking of.” This news from Divyanka must have come as a tough blow for her fans, who were eagerly hoping for her comeback.
Divyanka’s Ode To Yeh Hai Mohabbatein
Divyanka may not be making a television comeback as of now, but her recent Instagram post delighted Yeh Hai Mohabbatein fans. She, along with Karan Patel, was seen performing together at the Star Pariwar Awards.
Sharing a glimpse from the performance, Divyanka wrote, “Here it is…On loving fans demand…Ishra for you from the Star Pariwar Awards. Through this post, I want to express how lucky I feel to have got the stimulating subject, electrifying chemistry, talented co-actors, really creative creatives, wonderful producers and a great channel. Getting the right combination of all elements to make a show successful was ‘Kismat’ and putting all the hard work possible was my responsibility towards it.” She concluded her post with, “I can proudly count Yeh Hai Mohabbatein as one of my life’s achievements.”

Fans loved Divyanka’s post and filled her comments section with love for the show. A user wrote, “I’m still in shock that you really fulfilled our demands. I have no words to express how I should thank you, totally speechless. This is absolutely precious for me.” Another user added, “After 12 years, the IsRa (Ishita and Raman: characters on the show) magic still feels just as beautiful. They’ll always remain iconic.”
