The Mumbai Indians ace pacer Jasprit Bumrah has displayed a clinical bowling performance during the IPL 2025 game against Lucknow Super Giants on April 27.
His impressive spell of 4/22 has clinched 54 54-run victory on Sunday’s clash. Batting first, Ryan Rickelton and Rohit Sharma opened the batting attack while Mayank Yadav opened the bowling attack.
Mayank Yadav picked the wicket of Rohit Sharma for 12 runs in the 3rd over, while Rickelton went on aggressive mode while batting alongside Will Jacks. They went on to score 66 runs in the powerplay.
Rickelton went on to score 58 runs before being dismissed by Digvesh Rathi. After Suryakumar Yadav came to bat, Will Jack lost his wicket to Prince Yadav for 29 runs and Ravi Bishnoi picked the wicket of Tilak Varma for 6 runs.
However SKY went on to smash a fifty while MI captain Hardika Pandya went out for 6 runs.
With Naman Dhir and Corbin Bosch’s cameo, Mumbai Indians went on to score 215 runs in the 20 over innings. Both Mayank Yadav and Avesh Khan picked two wickets each while Prince Yadav, Digvesh Rathi and Ravi Bishnoi picked a wicket each.

In the pursuit of chasing 215 runs, Mitchell Marsh and Aiden Markram opened the inning for LSG while Trent Boult opened the bowling attack. Despite losing the wicket of Aiden Markram for 9 runs, Lucknow went to score 60 runs in the power play.
Pooran who scored 27 runs, got dismissed by Will Jacks in the seventh over while Rishabh Pat dismissed cheaply for 4 runs in the same over.
With the dismissal of Mitchell Marsh for 34 runs, Lucknow’s top order collapsed losing four wickets for 110 runs.
However, Ayush Badoni and David Miller made some crucial contributions with 35 and 24 knock before being dismissed by Trent Boult and Jasprit Bumrah respectively.
Jasprit Bumrah went on to create havoc in the LSG batting line up picking four wickets while Trent Boult picked three wickets and Will Jacks went on pick two wickets.
Finally by the end of 20 overs, Lucknow Super Giants lost all 10 wickets for 161 runs in the 20 overs quota.
