Amid 50 crore people who attended Maha Kumbh Mela 2025, one girl managed to draw maximum attention – Monalisa. Her pictures of selling Rudraksh malas at the Kumbh mela went viral on social media as netizens couldn’t stop raving about her beautiful eyes. She became so famous that reportedly she even bagged a movie offer. As per reports, director Sanoj Mishra has signed her for a movie called The Diary of Manipur. The news has made it to the headlines as a lot of videos of Monalisa traveling to different cities with the director and undergoing training have gone viral. However, producer Jitendra Narayan Singh has now made some shocking claims about Sanoj Mishra.
In an interview with Top Secret, Jitendra Narayan Singh alias Waseem Rizvi has accused Sanoj Mishra of taking advantage of simple tribal family. Jitendra Narayan Singh stated that he had a bad experience working with Sanoj Mishra as they worked together on three films. Calling him a fraud, he made shocking claims about Sanoj Mishra and his drinking habits. He added that “I feel bad for Monalisa and her family. They are simple and innocent people. But a person like Sanoj Mishra reached their home. And without doing any background check, they handed over their daughter to him.” Jitendra Narayan also claimed that no producer will back a film by Sanoj Mishra, thus there is no money for him to make the movie.

Meanwhile, there are reports suggesting that Monalisa will be paid Rs 21 lakhs for her first project. Rs 1 lakh has already been paid in advance. She is said to be playing the role of a daughter of retired army officer. Anupam Kher is also said to be a part of this film. However, there is no confirmation yet. Monalisa recently attended an event in Kerala and pictures went viral on social media.
