Even though a lot of people talk about the casting couch incidents, Mouni Roy has finally revealed a very disturbing and shocking incident from the initial stages of her career. She was recently on the celebrity talk show Spice It Up, hosted by Apoorva Mukhija. She mentioned that even though she has never faced any incident related to casting couch, she has faced startling experiences of misbehavior when she was just 21. She revealed that the man behaved inappropriately with her and “showed her mouth-to-mouth respiration.”
Mouni Roy REVEALS shocking incident
Mouni Roy recently appeared on Spice It Up, and when she was asked by the host Apoorva Mukhija (aka Rebel Kid) if she has ever faced a casting couch, she replied, “Casting couch toh nahi hua, but badtameezi hui hai (I have never gone through a casting couch, but I have been misbehaved with).” I was 21-22 years old, and I had gone to someone’s office where people were there inside the office where narration was being given. Suddenly there was a scene where the girl falls into the swimming pool, she loses consciousness, and the hero gets her out and gives her mouth-to-mouth respiration, and she gains consciousness.”
She did not reveal who the person was or if he was a director, casting agent, or actor, but she added, “The man literally held my face and showed me mouth-to-mouth respiration. Uss 1 split second main mujhe samajh hi nahi aaya mere saath kya hua (During that split second, I did not understand what to do). I started shaking, and I ran down. It really scarred me for a real long time.”
