Fashion designer and entrepreneur Masaba Gupta tied the knot with actor Satyadeep Mishra on January 27, 2023. The couple celebrated their second anniversary this year. To mark the occasion, Masaba shared some never-before-seen pictures with her husband and wrote a heartfelt note summarising their journey so far. While one of the snaps featured them relaxing on a beach, the second one was a candid of them conversing over a video call.
Along with the pictures, Masaba wrote, “Happy Anniversary Satyadeep Misra – 2 years later I am still overreacting to the fact that you don’t overreact to anything. Swipe to the next picture for proof.” Satyadeep Misra also reposted Masaba’s post on his Instagram story and wrote, “2 already.”
Masaba first met Satyadeep on the set of her show Masaba Masaba season one. He portrayed her ex-husband in the Netflix original series. The couple had dated for a time but kept their relationship out of the spotlight. They married in January 2023, and the pictures showed Masaba in a stunning pastel outfit, while Satyadeep looked dashing in a brighter kurta-pajama. Sharing the pictures, Masaba mentioned, “Married my ocean of calm,this morning.Here’s to many many lifetimes of love,peace,stability & most importantly laughter. And thanks for letting me pick the caption – this is gonna be great!”
In April 2024 they announced that they were expecting their first child. They welcomed a daughter on October 11 last year. Earlier this month, the duo revealed that they named their daughter Matara. Masaba Gupta posted an adorable photo of her daughter’s little fingers. The infant girl is seen wearing a white patterned shirt. Masaba’s hand is also visible in the photo, and she is wearing a gorgeous gold bangle with Matara’s name etched on it. In the caption, she mentioned the meaning and significance of the name. She penned, “3 months with my Matara.The name embodies the divine feminine energies of 9 Hindu goddesses, celebrating their strength and wisdom. Also, the star of our eyes.”
Masaba Gupta was last featured in Modern Love Mumbai. Satyadeep Misra made his Bollywood debut in No One Killed Jessica. He was last seen in Tanaav.
