A 31-year-old man was crushed to death with a stone in Nalasopara near Mumbai. CCTV footage of the incident has surfaced in the murder case of Shubham Mishra.

The incident took place around 11.30 p.m. on Friday. It is suspected that the killing was linked to an old dispute.

Argument before the attack

Shubham Mishra lived in the Gala Nagar area of Nalasopara East. On the night of the incident, he was sitting in a hotel with his friends when an argument broke out over some issue.

After this, he was allegedly called to a stall in front of Hanuman Temple in Nalasopara West on the pretext of having a cigarette.

When Mishra arrived by rickshaw, the accused followed him on a bike. He was stabbed in the thigh and then his head and face were crushed with a stone.

After receiving information, a team from Nalasopara police station reached the spot and carried out the panchnama.

Arrests made

Based on a complaint by Ankit Brijesh Pandey, a case has been registered against Roshan Singh, Jagan Mehendi, Sunil Malusare alias Bigshow, Suraj Singh alias Kabate, Tinkle Mishra and others.

So far, Nalasopara Police have arrested five accused in the case. The main accused, Roshan Singh, is absconding. Police are searching for him and other related accused on the basis of CCTV footage.
