Palestinians in Masafer Yatta celebrated the Oscar win of No Other Land, a documentary that portrays life in their community, hoping it would bring them much-needed support. In the hamlet of al-Tuwaneh, Salem Adra shared that his family stayed up all night to watch the ceremony. They cheered as his older brother, Basel Adra, one of the film’s co-directors, took the stage to accept the award for Best Documentary.
