New Delhi CM Oath-Taking news: Chief Minister Rekha Gupta and her Council of Ministers took oath at the Ramlila Maidan on Thursday afternoon in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, marking a return of the BJP in Delhi after 26 years.
Gupta, 50, was chosen as Leader of the House in the newly constituted 8th Delhi Assembly, in a meeting of the BJP legislature party on Wednesday.
Delhi Lieutenant Governor V K Saxena invited Gupta to form the new government after she staked a claim for it late Wednesday evening at Raj Niwas. She will become the 9th Chief Minister of Delhi after the administration of oath by the L-G.

Bank deposits: Rs. 72.94 lakh
Investments: She holds shares in Keshav Sahakari Bank and Hindustan Samachar Limited, totaling over Rs. 9.29 lakh.
Insurance policies (LIC): Rs. 53.68 lakh (held by her and her spouse).

Jewelry: Rekha owns 225 grams of gold jewelry worth Rs. 18 lakh, while her husband owns 135 grams valued at Rs. 11 lakh.
