The TNPL organised by Tamil Nadu Cricket Association has been contributing tirelessly to improve the cricketing career inside the state. Some Players who played in TNPL have achieved success playing in the National cricket team and the Indian Premier League.

Tamil Nadu Cricket Association has some set of rules to be followed in the TNPL 2024 auction.
- All eight teams must have a minimum of 16 members and a maximum of 20 players.
- All franchises can buy players within the allocated budget of INR 70 lakh.
Sai Kishore who played in three T20Is for the national side has been bought by IDream Tiruppur Tamizhans for INR 22 Lakhs during TNPL 2024 auction.
Sai Kishore has played in 5 IPL matches so far and bagged 6 wickets with an average of 20.17 conceding nearly 7.56 economy.
During the IPL 2024 auction, the Gujarat Titans franchise bought Sai Kishore for INR 3 Crores.
