The opening batter Smriti Mandhana smashed her 8th ODI century and broke the record of Mithali Raj to become the Indian player to have the most centuries during the decider match of the New Zealand tour of India 2024.
Mandhana scored 100 runs off 122 deliveries making a solid stand during the chase of 232 runs. She made big stands alongside Yastika Bhatia (35) and Harmanpreet Kaur (59*) helping the side to series glory.
India soon recovered from the early loss of Shafali Verma, who had been sent out by Hannah Rowe.
