Bollywood stars celebrated New Year 2026 with the utmost enthusiasm, and it was double the celebration for Sonali Bendre, who also celebrated her birthday on January 1. She had a great time celebrating the special occasion with her hubby Goldie Behl and their friends. Swades actress Gayatri Oberoi, Sussanne Khan, were also part of the celebration, and Sonali has now shared photos from the ‘magical night’.

On Friday, Sonali Bendre took to her Instagram to share several photos from her New Year 2026, and birthday celebration. The first picture shows the actress posing with Gayatri Oberoi. While Sonali looks stunning in a maroon shirt paired with sequinned skirt, the Swades actress rocked an off-shoulder brown dress. The next photo also featured Sussanne Khan who joined them for the celebration. A video clip gave a glimpse of the beautiful decor- from 2026 numerical balloons to beautiful flowers and candles. In one group photo, Sonali and her friends posed behind a table where several birthday cakes were placed. Goldie Behl was also seen in the picture. In her caption, Sonali wrote, “What a magical night it was! Huge thanks to @gayatrioberoi Wishing you all a fantastic New Year.” Check out the photos below!
Gayatri Oberoi made her film debut, playing the heroine opposite Shah Rukh Khan in Swades (2004), portraying Geeta, the companion of Mohan Bhargava. However, she quit acting after this single role. In 2005, Gayatri married businessman Vikas Oberoi, head of Oberoi Realty, one of India’s leading real estate companies. They have two sons, Vihaan and Yuvaan. A few years ago, in a conversation with Bollywood Hungama, Gayatri said, “I had an open mind and was willing to hear scripts. I believed a great opportunity would come my way soon. While I received awards for Best Newcomer, sometimes things don’t go as planned. Meeting my husband, Vikas Oberoi, made me realize I wanted a fulfilling family life more than being in Bollywood. My husband is truly my soul mate in every sense. Life often has unexpected and better plans for us!”
