Intense storm, rain hit Delhi-NCR, skies turn grey; IMD issues alert
Heavy rain and intense thunderstorms lashed parts of Delhi-NCR on Thursday, bringing respite from days of scorching heat. Weather in Delhi The maximum temperature in Delhi is expected to hover between 40°C and 42°C, while the minimum temperature is likely to settle around 29.7°C. According to the IMD, the city is likely to witness a partly cloudy sky that will gradually become generally cloudy. A spell of light rain accompanied by thunderstorms, lightning, and strong winds reaching speeds of 40–50 kmph, gusting up to 60 kmph, is expected during the afternoon and evening hours.
