Ji Sung and Jeon Mi Do Put Their Heads Together to Solve a Case in “Connection”

Ji Sung and Jeon Mi Do‘s upcoming drama Connection unveiled a two-shot poster. Connection follows Jang Jae Kyung (Ji Sung), an ace detective in the narcotics team, who is forcibly addicted to drugs. He uncovers the entire story of connections within a 20-year corrupt friendship using the death of his friend as a clue.  Former high school classmates Jang Jae Kyung (Ji Sung) and Oh Yoon Jin (Jeon Mi Do) begin to get entangled with each other in unexpected ways following the inexplicable death of an old friend. The two reunite for the first time in 20 years and join hands to solve the case.   The two-shot poster shows Jang Jae Kyung and Oh Yun Jin putting their heads together and pondering over the collected notes and evidence of the case to uncover the mystery of the death of their high school classmate. Jeon Jong Seo receives offer to star in the upcoming K-drama “Genie House”

Jeon Jong Seo is in talks to star in her fourth upcoming K-drama. On May 3, several media sources shared that Jeon Jong Seo has been picked to lead the upcoming K-drama titled Genie House.  Jeon Jong Seo’s agency ANDMARQ responded to the casting reports. According to them, “Genie House is one of the projects that was offered to the stress. “Queen of Tears” Jeon Bae Soo confirmed for his first ever Disney+ K-drama

Kim Soo Hyun and Park Eun Bin‘s K-drama father Jeon Bae Soo confirms his next work. On April 30, actor Jeon Bae Soo revealed his next project after the hit tvN K-drama Queen of Tears. According to media outlet Star News, the actor will join the cast of the upcoming Disney+ historical K-drama Murky Water.  This will be one of the upcoming K-dramas of Jeon Bae Soo. He will also join the cast of the upcoming series The Whirlwind, Queen Woo, and Extraordinary Attorney Woo Season 2.  Aside from several upcoming K-dramas, the actor is also booked and busy with several movie castings. Han So Hee and Jeon Jong Seo Confirmed to Star Together in a Noir K-Drama

Han So Hee and Jeon Jong Seo are confirmed to star in Project Y (working title). On April 29, the production company Climax Studio announced that actresses Han So Hee and Jeon Jong Seo have been cast as the leads in Project Y, with director Lee Hwan taking the helm. Project Y (working title) is a noir drama about two friends with an ambition to steal 8 billion won worth of gold bars in Gangnam, Seoul.  Interestingly, the two actresses are of the same age in real life and will play the young friends in the drama. Expectations rise for their charm, character, and sismance.  The production is undertaken by Climax Studio, known for producing high-quality works such as Netflix series Hellbound, D.P., Parasyte: The Grey, and K-movies like Concrete Utopia and Soulmate, as well as WOW POINT, a global content production company that has produced series like The Bequeathed and Parasyte: The Grey.  With the announcement of Han So Hee and Jeon Jong Seo’s casting, Project Y is gearing up for full-scale production preparation. “Connection” Puts Forward Character Posters of Ji Sung and Jeon Mi Do

From unique solo posters and character stills, Connection keeps hyping interest for its upcoming premiere. The series is written by writer Lee Hyun of Diary of a Prosecutor fame, and director Kim Moon-kyo, who was recognized for his delicate and detailed directing skills in Trolley and Lovers of the Red Sky, is drawing attention by working together. In the drama, Ji Sung plays the role of Inspector Jang Jae-kyung of the narcotics team at Anhyeon Police Station, who receives the respect of juniors and the trust of seniors within the police force. He follows the mantra “Success without connections and support has no weaknesses”. Thus, he keeps his distance from friendships, police work, and family by staying away from things that he thinks are dangerous.
