Tamil Nadu Congress Committee (TNCC) president K. Selvaperunthagai said on Sunday (December 28, 2025) that his party would soon announce its manifesto committee for the 2026 Assembly election.
At Satyamurthy Bhavan, the TNCC headquarters, he took part at a function to mark the 140th foundation day of the Congress. He later told the media that the “fascist” BJP should be defeated.
On Saturday (December 27, 2025), he endorsed the views of Congress State in-charge and seat-sharing committee chairman Girish Chodankar that sharing of power was essential to strengthen the Congress and fulfil the election promises.
