Indian women’s hockey team has started their title defence of the Women’s Asian Champions Trophy with a 4-0 win over Malaysia.
The tournament is being hosted at Rajgir Sports Complex in Bihar with six teams- Thailand, Malaysia, China, Japan, Korea and hosts India participating in the tournament.
India won the previous edition of the tournament hosted last year in Ranchi and will look to win the title again in front of the home fans.
As per the tournament format, the top four teams after the pool stage will play each other in the semi-finals and then the winners will play the title match.
The matches are being broadcast on DD Sports and the live stream is on the Sony LIVE app.
