India’s Yamini Mourya claimed the silver medal in the women’s 57kg judo event at the 2026 Commonwealth Games after going down to England’s Acelya Toprak in a closely fought final on Friday.
The bout remained scoreless throughout regulation before Toprak emerged victorious in golden score, with Mourya conceding three penalties during an extended extra-time period.
