‘Kerala Story 2’ Cleared For Release As HC’s Division Bench Stays Single Judge Order
In a big relief for the producers of ‘The Kerala Story 2’, a division bench of the Kerala High Court stayed a single bench order for an interim stay on the release of the movie for 15 days. A single bench led by Justice Bechu Kurien Thomas passed the interim order while hearing a batch of petitions challenging the clearance granted by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC). The bench observed that the petitioner’s apprehension regarding the film is “probably genuine” and asked the makers to wait for the court’s final decision. Read More
Vijay’s Wife Sangeetha Files For Divorce, Accuses Him Of Having ‘Extramarital Affair With Actress’
TVK chief and actor Vijay’s wife, Sangeetha Sornalingam, has moved a family court seeking divorce, alleging infidelity after more than 25 years of marriage. The couple, who tied the knot in August 1999, have two children. The divorce petition has been filed before the Chengalpattu family court, which has issued a notice to Vijay, directing him to appear in person on April 20.
