After Rahul calls Congress workers ‘tigers’, Rajnath says BJP workers are ‘sevaks’ | Chandigarh News

Taking a jibe at Congress leader Rahul Gandhi over his statement in which he had called Congress workers ‘tigers’, Defence minister Rajnath Singh on Wednesday said that the BJP doesn’t want to make its workers tigers but sevaks.

Addressing a poll rally in Pehowa of Kurukshetra, Rajnath  said, “Rahul Gandhi ji says that ‘Congress workers are tiger, lion and cheetah’. Cheetah and lion are violent, they attack whoever they watch. We don’t want to make our workers tiger or lion. We want to promote them as sevak.”

On Tuesday, Rahul had said,  “Look at Modi’s face, Rajnath Singh’s face, Mohan Bhagwat’s face… but Gadkari ji keeps smiling. He is slightly different, but all their leaders  and workers keep frowning 24×7. Our party workers keep smiling 24×7 and never get scared of anybody. They are tigers.”
