After Waqf, BJP is eyeing the land of Christians, Jains, Sikhs and temple land: Uddhav Thackeray | Mumbai News

Shiv Sena UBT president Uddhav Thackeray on Sunday alleged that after changing the law on land owned by Waqf board, the BJP is now eying on the lands of Christians, Jains, Buddhists and even temple land. He said that grabbing land of all communities for its industrialist friends is the only agenda of the national party.

Uddhav said that BJP will first take lands of the Waqf Board and give them to their friends and after that they will take the next step to grab the land belonging to Christians, Buddhists, Sikhs and Jains.

“We have already clarified our stand on the Waqf bill … BJP has nothing to do with Hindus regarding this bill. Their hidden agenda has been exposed by the Organizer (magazine of RSS). BJP will now take the lands belonging to the Christian community and hand it over to its industrialist friends. The next step (after Waqf Amendment Bill) would be to take land of Christians, Jains, Buddhists and Hindu temples. They will give prime land to their friends. BJP’s love is not for any community. It is only for their friends.
Hence we opposed the bill. BJP is working to create discord between communities and is sowing the poison,” Uddhav said.

On the occasion of 45th Foundation Day of BJP, Thackeray advised his former ally (BJP) to behave in a way Lord Ram lived and not just celebrate the foundation day on the occasion of Ram Navami.

Thackeray was speaking during the launch of a new wing of his party— the Shiv Sanchar Sena — which will be the IT and communications wing of the party.

When asked whether Shiv Sena UBT will approach the court like other opposition parties did, he replied in negative.

Thackeray’s party colleague Sanjay Raut said in future all the Waqf land will go to the “industrialist friends” of BJP.
