Bomb threat email to Bengaluru airport turns out to be hoax; case registered

A bomb threat email sent to the Customer Engagement Centre of Kempegowda International Airport (KIA) created panic among airport authorities, triggering an immediate security response.

According to a complaint filed at the International Airport Police Station, the incident occurred on April 5 at around 11:14 a.m., when staff at the BIAL Customer Engagement Centre received a suspicious email from the ID [email protected]. The email was sent to official airport addresses.
