Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to participate in the Cabinet Committee on Security (CCS) and the cabinet meeting at 5:30 pm on Wednesday. The meeting will take place as soon as the Prime Minister will be back from Bhutan.
The meeting will take place in view of the Red Fort blast that shook the entire nation on Monday evening, as it claimed 12 lives.
Meanwhile, Union Home Minister Amit Shah is set to chair a high-level security review meeting at Kartavya Bhawan on Tuesday. The meeting will assess the ongoing investigation and national security implications of the suspected terror attack following the blast that took place near gate no. 1 of Red Fort Metro Station.
Senior officials, including the Union Home Secretary, Director of Intelligence Bureau (IB), Delhi Police Commissioner, and Director General of the National Investigation Agency (NIA), will be present in the meeting.
