His fan’s assumptions about living and operating on unlimited energy might just be true, as Diljit Dosanjh is in no mood to slow down. Right in the middle of his latest tour, to celebrate his new album AURA, Diljit posted a new video on social media, which showed his routine when he isn’t performing in sold-out arenas. To everyone’s surprise, it wasn’t a video about chilling or taking a breather; it was actually a video about his tough and disciplined routine when he is off tour.
While Diljit still has shows in his current tour, no one would blame him after the electric concerts he performed in Australia and New Zealand. But he doesn’t want to take a break, and the video opens with Diljit running laps at 4:30 am in the morning. Then after doing a very ‘Rocky Balboa’ workout, which included chasing chickens and running up flights of stairs, he moved to weight training. The workout focused on his chest and triceps, which is basically a ‘push’ workout. However, the reps Diljit was counting were starting at numbers like 1001, 12005, and 36501, and the numbers kept increasing.
Then after a hearty breakfast filled with juices, fruits, and protein powder, Diljit started his journey along with his entourage to meet a very special friend. That friend was later revealed to be director Imtiaz Ali, and upon meeting him, the singer said, “Director Imtiaz told me, ‘Diljit, actor toh duniya mai bohot hai, par tu apna hai yaar. Isliye tujhe dobara le liya (There are a lot of actors in this world, but you are like my family. That’s why I have cast you again.)
At this point, Diljit shared a few snippets from the shooting and even complained that he was sleeping because the shoot, which was scheduled till 7, had been extended to 8:30 pm. He then wrapped the shoot up, greeted some kids who had gathered to spot him, and then left for home to get a well-deserved sleep.
